I m really depressed with my husband's dominating behaviour which is well supported by his whole family .His parents equally shouts at me whenever he fights with me .He wants me to live my life on his terms. He repeatedly insults, abuses me & my family. He earns 50,000 but doesnt have a penny for me or his baby.He used to torture me telling about what my parents were unable to give me during my marriage. He & his family ran from the hospital leaving me & my newborn baby because my family came to visit me & he is jeolous of them why them came.He took my mobile phone from me so that i cant talk to my family. He told me not to inform about my caesarean to my parents. He kept all my gold jewellery with him which my parents gave me.He used to yell at me and hitting the walls even on very small issues. His mother is his role model he always do whatever his mother said. My mother in-law once told me to abort while fighting with me.I was quiet & compromising because i am a girl & daughter.

Hi,
Regarding the same. It's unfortunate that you are suffering in such a manner. However, please note that the law runs entirely in your favour in the present case. You may proceed to file a case under the Domestic Violence Act against your in-laws and husband for such cruelty being metted out upon you.
You can also proceed to file a case for Divorce under the grounds of cruelty. You have many avenues to explore your situation and it is advisable that you speak with a lawyer to guide you further.
