Mental torture by husband by installing CCTV cameras

My husband has been torturing me mentally since 5 years. He wants me to leave him, and because of our daughter, I didn’t. My question, is it legal to install CCTV cameras inside the house? It’s like another of his mental tortures as he keeps a watch on me 24X7 and it’s very torturous.
No body has right to invade privacy of others even if the person concerned is his or her spouse. You can certainly approach Court under Protection of women from domestic violence Act for redressal of your grievances .

CCTV cameras can be installed int he house as long as they do not violate your privacy. There's a Supreme court judgment on this. And if he's torturing you it is suggested that you do not sit quiet as it will spoil the life of your daughter too. Kindly get in touch.

you should immediately lodge a complaint with the police as it is an infringement of your right to privacy if such an activity is taking at your place. protection will be insured to you as well as your daughter.
