A filled by my wife of domestic violence,now case status updated on web portal as "Petitioner Evidence". Please guide what is meaning for same

Usually courts don’t ask for preliminary evidence in Domestic violence cases.
Probably you and other respondents (if any) are proceeded ex parte. And after that it is part of procedure to lead evicdence. Here complinant’s evidence is written as petitioner evidence.
After leading evidence and on the basis of ex parte evidenec( if you don’t put up appearances) court will pass an order
