Matrimony fraud. Person cheated me my family

I met this person through Jeevansathi in year 2022. Families interacted. We gave shagun to him. I gave gifts n money to him. Marriage was fixed. Thereafter, he blocked my phone. We visited his home. After three years, he disappeared. Now heis on other matrimony site, shaddi. Com. He cheated us fraud us

Dear ma'am I can understand the pain you are going through, in this scenerio we can file a criminal case against him under relevant section of BNS after knowing all the facts. Once the facts are known then it will be a easy avenue to get justice thank you

You can always file a complaint to the police station according to your jurisdiction and register a FIR against him under cheating. And if the police fail to attend to your grievances then you can also approach the court under section 156(3) for the same. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

you may file a criminal complaint for misappropriation of property, fraud, breach of trust and other relevant provisions. for this relevant details about his residence must be given. we would have to check the limitation period as well because you are saying the incident is of 2022.
