Marrying again during life-time of husband.

I married on special marriage act on 2019. My wife re married without notice me on 2022 on court.I have second marriage certificate & other documents as proof. My question is how to file a complaint how & where ?under Sec 494 & 495.

You can report the matter before Police or you can file a complaint case before a magistrate. Filing of a complaint case is more effective and result oriented than a FIR. Contact a Advocate, he will surely guide you.

Marrying another man/women during the lifetime of 1st husband / wife is a criminal offence under various provisions of IPC. There are certain exceptions where a man/woman can marry a second person, but in your case those exceptions are not applicable. First of all go to the nearest police station and file a FIR against your wife narrating the entire incident properly. Once an FIR is registered a case will be drawn up against your wife and if found guilty during trial she will be punished with imprisonment.
