Married when I was a minor do I have to file for divorce

I am Hindu .7 years back I married my brother in law. that time I was a minor . I returned my after six months. since 6 years I am staying with my parents. now I am an employee . I want to marry other person. but my husband is not ready for divorce. how can I get divorce?
It was a voidable marriage since you were a minor. File a petition in court for divorce and the court will grant the same to you and then your free to marry anyone you want.

For divorce you have to show that your husband treated u with cruelity and you have to show unseen cricumstances to obtain decree of divorce against your huaband if he is not ready to give divorce to you
