Married a hindu girl this year I am muslim want to proceed for divorce

Sir, I married o Jan 2017 with hindu girl. I am muslim, my wife converted to islam and got as per muslim procedure. She accepted all that she will follow muslim religion. But since our marriage she is not obeying me and my family also she started to follow hindu religion. Now she given petition to local police station as she want to separate from my family and want to live me alone. I dont want to live with her anymore because of her change and also her own grand mother and mother supporting her to split me from my 60 year old mother. I am only taking care my mother for last 8 years. I am 27 yrs old and she too. I only spent all money for marriage I didn't get any help from her family on marriage. Please advice for divorce procedures.

Yes u can divorce your wife.under special marriage act u can file divorce and the petition to file divorce by declaration of marriage as null and void and one thing Ur wife is entitled to claim maintenance from u if she not working ,before that try for mutual

You can file case under Muslim law only. No Hindu law will applicable since your wife has converted to Islam and married you. File a case for declaring the dissolution of Muslim marriage between you and your wife.

If she has duly completed all the formalities and converted to Islam, you may declare Talaq against her and see that she is divorced. However, for the divorce to be complete, you must wait for the iddat period after talaq.
