Man applied divorce wants to remarry now as the divorce case pending

I am a married man .filed divorce case.ow I want to get married with my girlfriend as the contested divorce takes too much of time. I donot really want to waste my life waiting to get rid of first marriage

you may get married there's no bar in getting second or any marriage if you are ready to go to jail if you get convicted for second marriage. let me on a lighter note tell you your life would be less wasted that way. jokes apart but unless you succeed in your divorce and the period of appeal gets over without any appeal being preferred by your estranged wife you get eligible for marrying again. the best course of action would be to get your case expeditiously heard. mutual divorce is another viable and more easy and early solution. regards, Tanmoy Chattopadhyay, M.Sc (Net), LL.B (Delhi), Advocate, High Court, Calcutta.
