Is a wife divorced on grounds of cruelty by her towards the husband entitled to maintenance? Husband granted divorce by Family Court and re-married after expiry of limitation period of appeal

She is entitled to maintenance even if you have got a divorce decree on the ground of desertion or cruelty. There is a judgment of Delhi High Court on the same point.
Furthermore it all depends on the facts of one's case. You can definitely take the objections.
The wife is entitled to get maintenance until she re-marry.

Even after divorce, the wife would be entitled to claim maintenance from her ex-husband as long as she remains unmarried or is unable to maintain herself. Provisions for maintenance as well as interim maintenance have been provided under section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
