Maintenance petition filed in 2 different cases

27-Oct-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Hello, I have a filed a divorce case and it has been 3 yrs now. After that wife filed two cases in 2 different sub courts. DVC & RCR. Now in both cases, wife filed petition u/s 23 of DV in one court first and then u/s 24 of HM in another court. How these two maintenance petitions will be treated? I hope I don't have to pay double maintenance in the end. What should I do from my side to ensure the Judicial Officer know that there is a duplicate maintenance petition in another court.

There are different provisions in different enactments with regard to maintenance for wife and children. All the provisions for maintenance from different enactments can be invoked by the wife. However, maintenance will be granted or adjusted based on the order from the other petition and it will not be in multiples.
