Maintenance from husband without divorce

My husband is living abroad. We are married for 2 yrs. He is working.I don't know where he is living or working.I am also working. His salary is 12 times more than mine.Can i ask him for maintenance?
Also my mother-in-law took all my jewelry How can I get it back?
