maintenance case:125crpc/appearance in court

I have a case of 125 CRPC against me, I was not in my home and notice was refused. After few days I got whatsapp from court, I came to know the case has been filed after this. nI have actually ankle fracture due to road accident for which I had recent surgery and I have all the reports and prescription from the hospital. I have not appeared still in my case as I can't moveShould I hire an advocate for this, Can I get extension till I can walk on my feet or court can call me even when I am on wheelchair, what is my right here? I can't walk now at all now.

Dear Questionnaire under the aforesaid circumstances you have right to extend the date of the case. For this you have to file one petition supporting with medical documents which has been done by Advocate. You can call whenever be free.
