maintainenace case doubts on contest case

i m going to apply maintenance for myself n child. my husband planning to apply cavert. nwhat is the normal charge for applying cavert case in high court to stop interin maintenance. nwhat can we do to get maintenance.do we need to apply cavert to continue maintenance. help on it

A caveat filed in a court where you are going to file for maintenance will only prevent awarding of interim maintenance , it will not prevent maintenance being the main prayer of the case. Moreover a caveat fileded in High Court will not affect your maintenance case in another court.

Dear Madam, It seems you are not knowing full procedure about the interim Maintenance and Caveat Petition. No Caveat Petition can be filed if you are filing your Maintenance petition for the first time before the Trial Court.
