you may file mutual divorce through court.. that is valid.. divorce out of court is not valid. There are several steps involved in order to get a divorce by mutual consent. for more clarifications contact me directly... that is better.

through is the advisable option and the reason for the same for the same is that once you want to get your marriage as dissolved, it could be made only through a court of law. any other means shall make it invalid

Without a court order with proper jurisdiction you cant have a divorce under any of the Indian Law. There exists practises like agreement and such. But they r not legal. A legal marriage solemnized under Indian Law shall be separated through a Court of law otherwise wont be valid
