Legal recourse if divorce is getting delayed unduly

One of my friend is in trouble for case of divorce. her husband filed divorce but now not giving divorce. husband's mother keep delaying and trying to make it more complicated by filing 2 more cases which is completely irrelevant like filing defamation case against my friend's family on no basis. they also give some bribe to police so even police is also not listening. she is trying every single way to get it delayed and dragged unnecessarily as she knows if divorce is completed my friend can live happy life ahead which she do not want. As she also know her son will not get re-married because he is impotent. now in this situation instead of ruining life of girl what is the best way to get rid of it? how fair it is?
Dear either u have to convince court for exparte order if hus intentionaly delaying matter. Ur friend also file maintenence,498,domestic matter on her husband/famiky so my be due to pressure of matter may be he will ready for divorce.
Or if bottom police is not rplying than u must have to approach SP .

Dear
Unwanted delay is not a matter directly intimate to the court that the relevancy of the two case and move the matter immediately. Please intimate same thing to the Advocate ( If appointed ) so he expedite the matter immediately.
In case Police not file complaint of your friend then file the matter before the court.

What is the stage of proceedings..?
Other party can file other cases, the effect of other cases will not be on Divorce case, you can request for short dates in family court and can save time in filling of reply of diffrent application filled by other party in the Family court.
