Jurisdiction for contested Divorce

31-May-2024 (In Divorce Law)
My wife left our (rented) home in Delhi & is working in Pune in a MNC and residing separately there with my Son in a rented flat since 2 yrs. Does Pune family court have jurisdiction in this matter, if I (Husband) file for a contested divorce in Pune family court? Hindu marriage act section 19(ii) says that Petitioner can file the case where respondent currently resides. Is my interpretation correct?

Divorce jurisdiction in India for Hindi Couples is determined based on factors such as the place of marriage, the place where the couple last resided together, and the current residence of either spouse, as per the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955.
