Things are not good between me and my wife and I'm thinking of divorce. Wife's jewelry given by us during wedding and a chain which they had got for me is in a locker in my parents name along with theirs.Wife is asking to give her jewelry along with the chain that was given to me. Because she does not trust. Similarly I also do not trust her.I want to give her jewelry along with the chain which was given to me. Later she may say that the jewelry was not given to her. How can I safely do this.
Dear Sir,
You should not give her jewelry privately. Ask her to receive the same to Court and accordingly get an acknowledgement in the Court and if possible try for Mutual Divorce. The pending Divorce case may be converted into Mutual Divorce by exchanging your respective gold jewelry in the Open Court or in the mediation.
