Is second marriage valid if not divorced the first wife

My brother who are already married and have 3 children from first marriage he did second marriage by running away from home in court and without giving divorce to his first wife so I want to know that his second marriage legally valid without giving divorce to his first wife if it is valid then what to do to end the second marriage legally
Dear client , there is only one marriage concept under hindu law .If anyone performed second marriage during the life time of his / her wife / husband without getting legal and valid divorce .that marriage will b null and void and also a punishable offence both under hindu law and criminal law of our country . the only way to end marriage tie is by getting divorce from competent of law.

Firstly u can talk with first wife regarding this matter . U can file a divorce with first wife with mutual consent . Second marriage is not legal .

First of all second marriage without taking divorce is a punishable under section 494 IPC and if the first wife came to know about this she will file a complaint against your brother and he will be in great mess. And the second marriage is not a valid marriage it's a void marriage.

Subsisting of first marriage any second marriage is void ab intio. Means without taking the legal divorce from first wife such type of run away marriage is void in the eyes of law. Second wife has no legal rights and liabilities of wife from such marriage.
