if you are in Bangalore the usual way a mutual consent divorce petition before the court is that the Court refers the matter to mediation where the mediator in consultation with both of you will arrive at draft mentioning all the terms of settlement. Except in rare cases the terms arrived during mediation and accepted by court will become final.
