Is live-in relationship legal in India

I am 45 years old ad living in India. My wife and 2 kids are separated and living in Dubaii for he past 5 years. During this period 2 divorce cases were filed by me but at the last moment had to withdrew because of various pressures. Is there anyway I can approach the court for a third round of contested Divorce. We both are educated people and and the vested interests comes from their parents for the alimony. I m living alone in India and my kids living wih her in Dubai. In this context I would like to live with a companion. I had my first stroke and will need somebody to love and share, (both ways) Please help.
There is no objection for filing the divorce petition.If you are deserted each other you can definitely file the petition against your wife.It would be better if both of you could file the joint petition.

You can file divorce case against your wife under the ground cruelty and desertion (Id she continuously deserted you 2 years ).
Without divorce second marriage is an offence under section 494 of ipc. Live in relationship also will be treated as an act of adultery punishable with jail term, should your wife lodges complaint against you in this regard.

There is no law, other than the provisions as to adultery, which prevents a live-in relationship i.e. the lady in question should be a spinster or a divorcee or a widow. However, there are far more moral issues involved esp. for a married man with grown up children.
