Is impotency of my husband a valid reason for divorce?

I am a Hindu. I was married 2 months back and my husband is an impotent. Now i got to know that he cant give me baby. Can i apply for divorce now only?? Or untill when i have to wait to apply? If applied now, how many months it will take to get divorce??

You need to wait for a year to apply for divorce in meantime you need to get some documentary evidence for filing for divorce from court if he doesn't agree for mutual. Feel free to consult me if you need further guidance in this regard

u need to apply for divorce foe inpotitency andvu mustvhave the medical certificate of impotentency and u can aply for divorcebu can apply for divorxe u can get medical certificate from the hospital u can get

yes impotency of the husband is a valid reason, as sex is a very important part of married life and if one spouse sexual disability is causing mental harassment it amounts to cruelty which is a very good ground for divorce as per the judgements of supreme court.
