Is divorce given to American citizens in India valid in USA

I GOT MARRIED ACCORDING TO HINDU CUSTOMS IN INDIA. MY EX HUSBAND DIVORCED ME IN INDIA WHEN HIS COMPANY SEND US ON AN ASSIGNMENT TO INDIA FROM U.S.A.WE WERE BOTH AMERICAN CITIZENS AT THE TIME OF DIVORCE. HE DID THAT TO PREVENT ME FROM GETTING 50/50 SHARE AS PER U.S.A LAWS. THE DIVORCE WAS GRANTED ON MUTUAL CONSENT AND I HAD TO COMPROMISE. IS THIS DIVORCE DECREE VALID IN U.S.A? CAN I FILE FRAUD DIVORCE IN THE U.S?
You should consult a Local lawyer from usa for getting your share.Divorce granted by Indian Court should be recognized in USA.As law of civilized nations are recognised and a divorce of US Citizen granted in some other country can USA deprive it's citizen it's rightful due???

as per your details you got married in india and divorced in india as per hindu marriage act. divorce decree is valid in usa also. you have to look into the USA laws on which basis you can claim 50 percent share. you need to consult a lawyer in usa for better options available for you

What I got it from your description is that the divorce was obtained under Hindu Marriage Act from Hon'ble Family Court after following due procedure.
Also the marriage was organized in India under Hindu Marriage Act.
If that is so, marriage is no more valid in USA.
