Interim maintanences n maintenances

My hus filed divorce case against me. I m going to file for maintenance n interim. My lawyer asking me to pay his one third salary in court as advance to apply for the petition and it will be refundable.Do i need to pay his 1/3rd salary in court in advance in order to apply maintenance n interim maintenance. When they ll refund ? Will court provide any bill or documents. Pls help me. When can i get that amt back.

Hello, there is no such procedure under law. You need to file application for interim maintenance and permanent alimony. You lawyer is probably misguiding you. You have to contest your case against your husband.
