Indian woman married in India to a Australian citizen by birth

04-Feb-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Hello, my husband and I got married almost 2 years ago and I moved to Australia and lived with him and things are not working out and we want to file divorce. How will this divorce be handled since he is an Australian citizen living in Australia? Will he have to come to India for this procedure or can I alone do it here? How much will it cost? Which lawyer can I hire? What's the processing time? can i make him pay all the legal costs?

the divorce shall be filed at India only. the divorce reason should be very strong. if the person residence of Australia then it is not a bar to file the divorce at India. you need all valid documents for having the marriage at India. all proceeds will go in accordance with the Indian law
