We got separated mutually in 2019 and she gave me her signed separation letter but later bcz of her parents pressure she denied divorced in court hearing and gave a statement that she want divorce in india only as we got married in india but court anyway granted us divorce and now after 2 years of divorce her parents are giving me warning that they gonna put some false cases against me in india. To say no case is made out will be irrelevant in your case. In the event that her family files a case against you, and there exists no sufficient reason and or evidences or the fact that the particular issue had already been decided in the divorce case, then, perhaps they'll lose the case. What you must do is, gather evidences.

f you've been granted a divorce by an Indian court, she has the option to file cases of domestic violence and maintenance against you in a competent court. However, the crucial factor is whether the separation occurred mutually or through a court process.

Since you are already divorced and you must be having the settlement deed in which the terms and conditions must be clearly written they can't do anything. They are just creating harassment to fetch out some money from you. You need not worry. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.
