In a relationship but I am not married

15-Aug-2023 (In Divorce Law)
A coworker messaged me using a fake ID and asked for a relationship. I explained that due to family reasons, marriage wasn't possible, but she suggested a non-marital relationship, and I agreed. We engaged in a sexual relationship. Now she's pressuring me to marry her, but it's not feasible. I've blocked her. Can she legally pursue a case if I decline to marry?

Yes since you have developed physical relations with her then she can always institute a case against you under section 376. It's advisable to peacefully tell her that marriage is not possible. And if you wish to go legal then you can also send her a legal notice regarding your grievances. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.
