If date can be changed and how

My divorce case ( filed by my wife) is going on. the previous date was missed by me. I am unable to attend this date too. Issue dates are falling, no hearing started yet. Is it going to create any problem? Can date be changed? My lawyer is telling that there would be no problem. Please suggest
There may be issues if the other party is able to prove that you are trying to delay the procedure for no reason . The proceeding may be heard EX PARTE if your lawyer is unable to give enough and satisfactory reasons for your absence .

Yes date can be changed, if any lawyer has stated, it cannot be, he or she is not guiding you right, problems may arise just to harass you and drag it more and more, if wife has filed, you must file RCR to save your part, even though if you dont want to stay per se, but it wil help you.

no it will not create any problem but your lawyer has to submit an memorandum of issue then it case will run to stage of pH then only but u have nothing to worry your main thing is to delay the process
