I want divorce but there are several problems.

I am a Muslim woman. I got married in dec 2017. My husband has mental illness of which he didn't inform before marriage. I am living at my parents house since January 2018 and my husband is neither keeping me nor divorcing me. My parents are not in favour of divorce and so they are not initiating it and my husband doesn't contact me and is living a separate life and not initiating divorce.

You file the divorce case by yourself only as it is you who has been suffering from the relationship not your husband.. You file it and let him respond because if you are able to prove the case of mental illness than you will be able to get the divorce.

Tell me ur separation date? And if you want to file a divorce, it’s possible to take a divorce on bases of mental illness ..... but you have some medical documentation to prove that your husband is mentally ill.....
