I want a divorce but he threatens me with everything to stay in it.

I married in feb 2021. It was a court marriage and our families doesn't know about the marriage yet. After almost 3 months he started abusing me right left and centre and when things got out of control i wanted to end this marriage but he threatens me everyday with everything that he will leak my pictures my videos, he will tell everybody (my family) about our marriage and abuse them. He says he will make my life hell and also of my family. I cannot take it anymore. Please guide me what can i do about it.

You may file a complaint against him through your advocate so that he will not dare again to harass you. Also, the the court may impose strict conditions upon him and he may also be convicted as per the law for committing crime. Thanks & Regards Deepak Grover

If the behaviour of your husband is intolerable towards you then you can always file for divorce against him and what he is doing comes under cruelty. If possible I you should go for mutual divorce because it is less money consuming and ends up in maximum of six months. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

Hi, Sorry that you had to go through this. You can file a case for divorce, DV & maintenance so that he is under pressure to not threaten you or behave in any funny or immature manner. Plus, threatening to leak photos comes under blackmailing which is again punishable by law. For further details- call us.

You need to immediately hire expert advocate in this regard. These types of people shall be put behind the bars. Anyways ! This is the case of cruelty on you ! File the cases as follows : 1. Section 498a IPC along with others 2. Domestic Violence for reliefs n protection 3. Section 13 HMA B in touch 4. 125 CrPC
