I have to send summon to my husband in Dubai . Can we send it by email

I am an NRI . I have filed for contested divorce. So can the summon be directly send to. My husband in Dubai through his email or does it go through Indian Counsulate

it has to go through the Indian consulate but you can send a copy of the same through the email. as your lawyer he will tell you how he has filed your divorce whether it is a mutual divorce or it is a contested divorce he will clarify that

Summons may be sent through email or whatsApp by permission of court. I have served it through whatsApp for my client whose husband was living abroad and same was admitted by the family court ghaziabad as effective service of summons.
