06-Apr-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I have married to my wife in 2018 and our marriage was registered in Delhi. I am one Indian citizen and she is from Europe(Citizen of Europe). After our marriage, we have stayed for 11 days together, then she left to her country, and from that period we have never been together. From last couple of months she has stopped responding my calls and stopped calling me. As we can't be together , I want to file my Divorce . Our marriage got registered in Delhi and I am from Bangalore. Where I can file the divorce(Delhi or Bangalore), what is the procedure, how long it will take. Please help me in this regard. Thank You.

You can file the petition in any of the following District Court where the Marriage was solemnised or where the Respondent resides or where the parties last resided together. It’s advisable to go for mutual divorce because it’s cost effective and ends in maximum six months. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

We need more information on this ! Do you have any resudence in delhi ? As marriage was registered in delhi and if you have any resudence is delhi too then it’s recommended that you must file divorce case from delhi itself ! As your spouse won’t come to India to contest therefore there is high chances that ex-parte decree will b granted by court ! Plz b in touch
