I have brought my 4 years 8 months old son from my wife

I have brought my 4 years 8 months old son from my wife without her consent as we are planning for a divorce and have received a notice from her advocate for an amount of money that i cant afford. i want to keep my son with me. As his welfare & wellbeing is with me & the child also wants to stay with me forever what can i do to keep my child with me....Please Help....God Bless

Well, first of all, we need to reply to the legal notice served by your Wife's Advocate. Then, being an Advocate, I have to file a case in Court to let your child remain with you by filing a Child Custody Petition. I will argue, why your wife should not be given custody including the most important reason, that, the child wants to reside with you.

If you or your wife has not filed any case before court then you need not worry and you may continue the custody of your son with you.. As for the notice sent by your wife, you may respond to it through your counsel

If you cannot afford the amount demanded by your wife, you have to fight the divorce case in court. Regarding the custody of the child, you can file an application in family court regarding child custody and state the reasons as to why the child should stay with you. For the same, you can approach me.
