I have been suffering from severe domestic violence by my parents for years now. All kinds of violence except sexual violence I have suffered. I am a girl of 23. I fear of it I have some how managed to get 3 lakhs from my father. A week ago, provoked by my father my younger brother chocked me. I wanted to file a domestic violence case. I want to know can my father get back the money he gave me by the court through any instance. I want to be clear in this matter.

sorry to hear about the difficult times you have been going through. I want to assure you that domestic violence laws will certainly come to your rescue. but before I proceed with the legal remedy I want you to be clear with few things. first until you get married you are a legal dependent of your parents. but in case you are already married then your position is adverse. be that as it may whether your father can or cannot proceed with a valid proceeding against you for recovery of the money will be dependent on the terms and condition under which the money was paid to you by your father.

as you are suffering from abuses and domestic violence you can case against your father and your brother say in details about the money matter which is not clear what you want to convey say in details what is your jurisdiction...
