i have seen your query carefully and found that you are having an apprehension that the wife of the person to whom you have an affair will lodge a police complaint against you and you will be behind the bar on the basis of police complaint. in this regard i am of the opinion that your apprehension is baseless and imaginary. Do not worry she is not able to do that because having an extra marital is immoral in our society but not an offence, she cannot do so, no law in India permits that, she can only get divorce on the ground of extra marital but she also needs to prove that. You need to put things strategically once she file any proceedings, complaints, etc
