I got ex parte in dec 2018, when can I remarry? How long does it take?

19-Feb-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Hi, I was married in nov 2012, (christian marriage act) but i nvr stayed with my husband.. He abused me physically n mentally so i fled from home and stayed separetly. In Oct 2016, i filed for divorce but he nvr turned up in the court.. N due to some court's short coming (like no availability of judges etc) my case ws delayed to a grter extent. Initially it ws filed at Pune Civil Court later filed at Pune Family court in Jan 2018. In dec 2018 court ordered ex parte as my so called husband never appeared in the court. Now my lawyer told me that some evidence has to filed. So even that was filed, but can someone tell me what is the meaning of evidence to be filed? Evidence filing date-feb 2019 And now court has kept nxt hearing on march 2019. So can anybody tell me am I free of this marriage? How long should I wait? Does ex parte means I can remarry? Wat will happen on the hearing in march 2019? Please help me. Thanks in advance

You shall be file examination in chief of yours and thereupon no cross examination order of judge against your husband shall be passed.Thereupon Court can pass exparte Decree of Divorce. Therefore till decree of divorce by court and appeal period end you can't marry again.

Exparty means matter to proceed in absence of your husband. Still you need to prove your case and therefore need to file evidence and convince Court about your case. After your evidence amd arguments Court will pass judgement. You can remarry but after divorce is granted in judgment and the appeal period after judgment also gets over.
There should be trust and proper communication between you and your advocate.
