I dont divorce but my husband is forcing me for take devorce

Our both religion is hindu. Before my marriage.. Me and my husband had affair when i was 17 year and he was 25 years. When i turned 18 my parents knew about our relationship and they tell him to marry me or they will file case against him. Later a days he agree for court mariage and we did it. But that was his plan. Its only 2 month of our court marriage and now he want divorce. He tell me , that he never want to marry me. He only marry me to save his life. But i dont want divorce. What i do now

Well, if you do not want a Divorce, then, as per the laws, your Hubby will not be able to seek Divorce from you easily, as he has to seek a Unilateral Divorce and to seek it, he has to fight a case in Court for several years.

You may file for restitution of conjugal rights before Family Court and seek directions from court. If he has filed a divorce case, then you may file Restitution of Conjugal rights as a counter claim to Divorce petition. If your husband has removed you from his house, then you may file for residential order and maintenance from husband as well.

One cannot opt for divorce within 2 months of marriage unless proved otherwise. He needs to prove the fact that he was forced into marriage. Feel free to contact me for seeking any further legal advice as regards the same.
