I am working as a teacher ,living with my only son and parents

I am married from last 21yrs but now I am staying away from my husband from last 2 yrs as during my marriage period i went through a lot of mental trauma.But when he was abusing me in front of my son i decided to leave him and start a new journey.we dont talk on phone but he comes to my place to meet his only son.But he is paying only 25 thousand monthly to me which is not enough for us.I want to put up a maintence case against him but want to know the consequences
the maintenance will directly depend on the expenses you made during a month. it is also important that the expenses is only for the necessity not luxury. for the maintenance we need to see the income structure of your husband and yours too before coming to any relevant solution.

Depends on the income of the husband and the age of the child what amount may be decided by the court. In most cases where the mother is upbringing a child she is entitled to around half of the husbands income or may be more depending on expenses. There is no negative consequences for the wife.
