The facts stated by you require a detailed examination of the entire matrimonial history, the Facebook Messenger conversations, and other supporting documents before any legal opinion can be formed. Merely on the basis of the information provided, it would not be appropriate to conclude your legal rights or the strength of your case. Since issues relating to divorce, child custody, maintenance, and electronic evidence are involved, you should have all relevant records examined by an advocate, who can assess the facts in detail and advise you regarding the appropriate legal course of action based on the applicable law and evidence.

Based on the facts stated, the Facebook Messenger conversations may constitute relevant electronic evidence, provided their authenticity is established in accordance with law. However, repeated statements expressing an intention to seek divorce alone do not automatically entitle either party to a decree. The outcome depends upon the entire matrimonial conduct, documentary evidence, and surrounding circumstances. Before initiating or defending any proceedings, have all records thoroughly examined by a competent matrimonial lawyer to determine the most appropriate legal strategy and safeguard your rights, including those relating to child custody, maintenance, and matrimonial reliefs
