I am a hindu and a 498A case has been registered and a day for first appearance has been provided in Magistrate court. Can I be arrested on the date of appearance, if I don't have bail? As I am innocent, should I appear in magistrate court?

Dear client, if the investigating officer has filed a charge sheet in your case and you have received a summer from the magistrate court to appear in the case then without seeking Bail you cannot appear in the case. Bail is the first appearance in the case. If the court did not issue any warrant against you then you cannot be arrested or taken into the custody. 498A is a slightly acute and a series offense in its nature but since you claim that you are innocent you need not bother as I will provide some sort of a judicial panacea to you as well as shelter to you do tell me the fats and figures of the case which your innocence and most probably you will be vindicated by the courts of law and I after knowing facts and figures will be able to come to a definite conclusion

in these condition you have one option file the anticipatory bail in the concern District court after granting the bail order you are safe from arrest and you can present in the magistrate court. without the bail the court may send you behind the bar.
