Husband put conditions to take back divorce

18-Jun-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Hi, I left inlaws place bcoz of violence and post that my husband sent me a legal notice to come home but with his conditions. I later sent a notice with my problems for which he filed a petition and in the court judge asked both of our conditions. He denied my condition and withdrew the petition and later sent a divorce notice. His conditions are “I shouldn’t go to mom’s place and I should mix with the family and do all work “. Now it’s been 9 months and still the divorce case is pending and he is ready to take back his divorce notice if I agree his conditions. Should I go ahead and sign?

The facts mentioned by you are too small to give you any proper legal advice. In any case should you be agreeing to his conditions or not is not legal issue to be answered. I strongly suggest to contact to your lawyer for guidance. If your lawyer is unwilling to help then get in touch with other lawyer, apprise the lawyer with all facts and documents and you can obtain legal advice.

I don’t think you should sign the conditions as your husband can’t stop you from going anywhere. It’s your personal choice whether you want to stay with him or live life as per your terms. Let me know if you need any further notice regarding this.

Dear queriest, as per your query you have mentioned that you divorce is filed by your husband but he wants you back with his certain conditions, here you can do is you can make sure you make the court know that he has been keeping certain conditions for me to come back to matrimonial home, which is not at all valid. the court may think on it and may pass certain orders in regards to the Same. please feel free to call me to discuss the issue in detail
