how a muslim woman can apply for divorce through court?
This is my response to you:
1. She can file for talaq-i-tafweez;
2. Wife has a right to seek divorce through intervention of Qazi (court) on the grounds pleaded by her;
3. She can also file divorce when a husband goes missing for a period of 4 months, that is to say, the whereabouts of the husband have not been known for a period of four years;
4. The whole process will be under Dissolution of Muslim Marriage Act,1939;
5. Consult a local lawyer and take the legal steps.
