Husband is filing false response regarding income

I have filed a divorce in Odisha and my husband has given false response that he has low source of income. How can I get court ordering appropriate authorities to get all his bank, demat and credit card details? He has high contacts in his company and can give false salary slips showing low income. He has regularly filed IT returns showing low salary.

Once you have initiated a divorce proceeding before a court of law, you are required to lead evidence upon your allegations. As income is one of the most peculiar things to be proved during a divorce proceeding trial, you can apply to the court by filing a petition to call for the details of the salary of your husband from the concerned company. It is not true that all the companies would manipulate the salary information of a particular employee. Even if we assume that he successfully manipulates some of the months salary details, I am pretty sure that rectifications can't be made to informations which are already entered in the official documents of the company. By doing this you can prove the salary which your husband is receiving from his company and can proceed accordingly.

In your case to challenge the veracity of your husband’s response, you have to produce corroborating materials to counter it. So it is important to understand how do you have the knowledge of your husband having a higher income as against what he claims. On basis of that a court order can be obtained where his company might be directed to produce actual records of his compensation/salary that it is receiving.
