Husband has filed petition before now wife wants new petition for new

Husband has filed for divorce and stopped following couple of years ago. Wife didn't participate. Now husbands whereabouts are not known. Wife wish to file a new petition on the basis of desertion now in different state as she is now moved to diff state. Is it possible.
If the matter filed by the husband has not been proceeded with then wife can file separate case. However the status of the pending matter needs to know in order to give you any sane advice. You can file Transfer Petition before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. So that the divorce petition filed initially can get transferred to the state in which you are residing. When the divorce case get transferred then you can file amend your plea for divorce on ground for desertion
