Dear Madam, You may immediately lodge a complaint with police and also file domestic violence case. You may claim maintenance. If he is working in government office it is easy to get interim maintenance otherwise you have to get salary certificate either from his office or through Court.

You have to appear before family court on next date and defend your case otherwise you will be placed exparte and proceedings will go on in your absence. To avoid that it is better to appear in person or through a lawyer to defend your case.
