Husband filed Divorce but I want to stay married

My husband filed divorce on cruelty and desertion grounds this March 2022 after leaving me and my 3 year old son in August 2021. But I want to stay married with him. First mediation went hopeless. I am working in public sector near Bangalore (Tamilnadu only) but matrimonial home is near Chennai. Kindly guide me

No need to worry. The only way is to contest the case filed by your husband. You need to counter the allegations made by your husband in his divorce petition. You did not mention the court in which the is filed by your husband.

You can contest the case and file a separate petition for restitution of conjugal rights. If you disproved his allegations against you, the court will not pass order in favour of him. It may take some time and effort, but you will not lose your matrimonial life. All the best
