Husband concealed criminal background how to get divorce
15-Mar-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Respected sir, My sister(govt bank employee) got married with a guy we choosed, 2 months after marriage she came back to my house saying she does not want to live with that guy, the reasons are as follows:- 1. He was a bigtime fraud, he has already been sued in cheque bouncing matters 2. He has faked everything he said before marriage 3. He asked for getting a loan at sister's job 4. When she denied he asked her to get loan from bank customer who knew her because of this job. 5. The mother in law of my sister pressurised her for dowry and her salary amount which she earned prior to marriage. 6. They used the whole bank balance and credit card limit and more amount she gained in wedding ceremony in this two months. 7. The biggest problem is that guy has been failed to establish any successful sexual relation in said two months. 8. My sister said she initiated 2-3 times to have sexual intercoures with her husband but he has failed to perform. Plz consult.
Your sister can file a suit for mutual divorce if her husband agrees for the same otherwise also she can file a suit for divorce on any of the grounds that you have mentioned above. As she has valid reasons for seeking divorce from her husband.
You sister need to complain first in state women's commission and also to your City Police Superintendent or SP for dowry related violence against her husband and her mother in law.
Or she can go directly to court and file case against them under dowry act.
