How to get proof that summon issued to respondent is delivered?

Hindu religion divorce under Section 13 of HMA was filed by me on 26 Jan 2016 in family court. Court sent summon by registered post to respondent. Neither Ack nor Regd post returned back to the court. After 10 months again court sent notice to the respondent, again neither Ack nor Regd post returned back. Then court enquired of 2nd notice with post office. Postmaster replied "delivered on 20 feb 2017 only". No one knows who received. where is the first summon, no one knows. What should i do? what will be the court's next action?
It is not clear whether you have filed the case yourself or with the assistance of the lawyer. Once the notice is served to the respondent, need not send the same again. If the respondent is absent on the hearing date which is mentioned in the notice will be considered as exparte.

The reply from the post office is sufficient that the Summons has been duly served on the respondent. Your advocate can request the court to commence the proceedings ex-parte. Furthermore, it is possible that delivery of registered letters could be verified from the official web site and court informed accordingly.
