How to get divorce when wife eloped with someone and have been seperat

My wife eloped with someone and we are separated for more than a year. Now I want to file divorce. But I fear that my wife may file domestic violence suite on me and my family now as she is expecting a huge amount of money for divorce. nHow to get divorce now?

hi you could file for divorce on grounds of mental cruelty and having volunatarily left the house and having extramarital affairs and if she is ready to give mutial divorce then its good otherwise if she filed any cases you could contest on the grounds that there was no harassement

if you have proof of the above, first send a legal notice and also lodge a case under Section 497 of IPC with the cogent evidences. You can also avail the remedy of Divorce Under Cruelty with cogent evidences.
