You can file for divorce on the grounds of cruelty. You can also get alimony or maintenance. While the case is going on you can apply for and get interim maintenance. The duration of the matter depends on many factors. On an average it might take 2-3 years.

Agar aap Divorce or maintenance dono chahati ho to aapko divorce or maintenance keliye case file karni padegi. Police case kaneki koi jarut nahi ha I lekin agar aap police case karogi to divorce or maintenance k liye aasani hogi.
