I want to file divorce case. Pl tell me detail procedure and how can i get free lawer for it. I have heard law has provision to get free of charge Advocate for divorce procedure if applicant is women

Dear client you have to file case in court then take a help of court considering your issue. or you can fight your own case in person. but normally everyone can appoint lawyer. if you want mutual consent divorce then fees of lawyer can be shared between parties.

No there is no provision in law for getting lawyer free of cost to women. There is provision in law to apply for legal aid to get lawyer to defend you at the cost of Govt. don't differ whether you are male or female child or old. For divorce by mutual consent there is no such provision. Advocate can charge low as per his wish.

You need to show, that you are Poor, Destitude or Physically Handicapped or not working at all or dependent on your Parents's Income or family Income to run your case. On Satisfying Court with these evidences, you will get a Legal Aid Lawyer to support you freely .
